With over 35 years of combined experience Pine Bend Wealth Management was formed based on a set of core values centered around trust and open communication. At Pine Bend Wealth Management we work to define your personal financial goals and discover how you wish to impact those around you. We develop a custom financial plan that puts your money to work and have access to a diverse group of experienced professionals who can provide guidance on everything from the sale of a business, wealth transfer strategies, to philanthropy.

Retirement Planning

Retiring today can be complex. At Pine Bend Wealth Management we provide retirement counseling and independent investment advice to help you manage your retirement goals. With our knowledge and experience in financial services we pursue the answers to your tough questions.


We will collaborate with you to determine a suitable substitute for you to then create and implement a comprehensive custom retirement plan that’s based on your personal goals and financial position. A retirement plan designed to meet your retirement needs. We’ll then guide and coach you to pursue your goals.

Portfolio Management

Portfolio Management is the process of designing and executing a cohesive investing strategy based on your goals, time horizon and risk tolerance. Each client's strategy for investing is different. Through our discovery meetings we will strive to identify all of your investments: 401k’s, company stock, investments, savings and cash.


Based on this information we implement our agreed upon investment strategy and provide ongoing portfolio oversight, adjusting your portfolio as needed. This includes asset allocation, which is where your assets will reside, in either a taxable or tax-advantaged account. Market fluctuations might cause a portfolio to get off course from the original plan and we will rebalance your portfolio for you.


Tax minimization is a part of portfolio management. We consider the tax implications of our investment decisions and strive to find strategies to lower your exposure to current and future taxes.

Educational Funding

Among the Class of 2019, 69% of college students took out student loans, and they graduated with an average debt of $29,900, including both private and federal debt. Meanwhile, 14% of their parents took out an average of $37,200 in federal parent PLUS loans.*


But how and when does one begin to save for their children’s college education? We’ll walk you through the alphabet soup of available college education savings tools like an Education Savings Account (ESA) or Education IRA, 529 Plan and UTMA or UGMA (Uniform Transfer/Gift to Minors Act) and determine which vehicle may work best for you.


So you know, this isn’t all on you. We’ll also provide you with some ideas on how your student can get involved in the effort. At the very least this will help them establish healthy money habits for the future.
